About the Event

· Come and enjoy the flower field!   The flower field is my single favourite place on the farm -- And that's saying something!  The season here is just beginning, but the field is full of Snapdragons, Chinese Forget-Me-Nots, Cosmos, Ageratum, Zinnias, and more.  We grow over 40 flowers and 100 varieties, so there is always something spectacular blooming.  Your ticket includes a mason jar that you can fill with the best of our seasonal flowers, and then take home to arrange in your own favourite vase.  We encourage you to smell the flowers, soak in the colours, relax, and enjoy!

· Children are free to join you.  There is plenty of room in the field, as we are limiting the number of entries, so please keep a 2m distance to keep everyone safe.  We provide flower snips and the jar (for measuring purposes, as we ask that you leave the jar here).  Before you leave, we will arrange and wrap your bouquet for travel.  If you are not going straight home, we recommend you bring a container to hold water.  Please bring your own snips, if you have them, but otherwise, we have plenty of sanitized pairs.

· Note: We encourage you to take photos of the flowers, and yourself with them, but please no professional photography sessions during these Cut Your Own sessions, as that isn't fair to our other guests.  We will have several of these events through the summer months.  We regret that we aren't open for "Drop ins" outside of our event times, as this is a working farm with a small staff.

· Cost: $30, payable by cash or etransfer to ruralrootsnursery@gmail.com.
